We transformed a development house into one of the island's most sophisticated gardens. The ground floor was faced in lava rock to evoke ancient Hawaiian fortifications, while a series of orchestrated experiences unfold throughout—a zigzag bridge modeled after samurai crossings, yellow koi swimming beneath blue water lilies, a meditation garden where a Buddha gazes across to the library terrace, plaster walls rubbed with native soil to create the patina of centuries. Native hibiscus and rare endemic species—some propagated from a single surviving specimen—weave through every layer, proving that luxury and regeneration can complement each other naturally.
